I actually think there is a quiet shift in many educators, moving to support GW and the GOP. Frankly, when Dems were in power, I do not recall any focus whatsoever on education. I think other educators share my memory of teachers being dead last on the list of who matters in this country when Clinton was president. Clinton had an education summit, and didn't even invite teachers. GW and Laura Bush, as well as Gov Bush, have kept education on the front burner. I believe some teachers actually know this.

Well, I hate No Child Left Behind...it ties the hands of teachers in some ways. But, I will still vote for him, that's for sure.
