This is a key race, one that will decide the direction of the Senate and, by extension, the country. Right now, Burr is the slight favorite, but Bowles can spend tons of his wife's money anytime he wants to. Also, I fear that Bowles has improved his campaign skills.

Bowles has wife money too? I know he has Morgan Stabley money of his own. He was actually quite well regarded there until his Clinton hitch.
