This is a key race, one that will decide the direction of the Senate and, by extension, the country. Right now, Burr is the slight favorite, but Bowles can spend tons of his wife's money anytime he wants to. Also, I fear that Bowles has improved his campaign skills.

Erskine is a Washington DC nerd who's out-of-touch with the people. His newfound opposition to gay marriage is as authentic as his "concern" for businesses in North Carolina. North Carolina voters rejected this Clinton sycophant- but apparently he can't take a hint.
