Get a life. Red Sox fans chanted "Daaaaryl" at Strawberry in 1986. And Zimmer should have thought about his grand-daughter. The old fart charges a man 40 years younger and ends up on his ass. Suits me.

Yes, and nothing like that could ever happen in NYC, especially in the Bronx.
I am hardly being self-righteous. I just think underdog teams are more fun to root for.
Go Red Sox.

Get a life. Red Sox fans chanted "Daaaaryl" at Strawberry in 1986. Yeah, and that worked real well for them then, huh?

Yet you're strangely silent about Pedro hitting and threatening Yankees, and Manny charging the mound. I wonder why that is.

should the visiting teams bloated bench coach make a run to attack...LOL! Good one, doc.

Unlike your fans, who overturn cars after winning one round of the playoffs, Yankee fans are pretty darn well-behaved. Virtually every other city EXCEPT FOR New York has had some sort of riot when their teams won a championship.
And I notice that you, too, are strangely silent about Pedro's headhunting and Manny's charging the mound. I wonder why that is.

Cripes.........Craaaaannnnston!
My wife never lost her accent....I never had one...except for the fruit ORANGE....which to this day I still pronounce AH RINGE.
My lovely wife used to get the strangest looks outside of RO DY LUND when she would ask the store clerk for a CAHTUN OF LAHKS cigarettes.
And never mind when she asked if they had KAWFEE ice cream!!!

Great Baseball Rule. LOL!

Because they're not 72 year old damn fools. No, they're 30-year-old damn fools. And you know what's funny? Not a single Red Sox has defended Pedro for hitting Garcia, or Manny for freaking out over Clemens' pitch. Not one. In fact, several Red Sox apologized to Yankees for their teammates' behavior. I wonder why that is.

strangely silent about Pedro's headhunting and Manny's charging the mound. I wonder why that is. Because those things are not in question. All I have ever asked for (on this and other threads) is that Yankee fans admit to the violence that the NYY were responsible for.
But listening to their fans (like you) you'd have thought the Red Sox pounded them into oblivion, and the poor Yankees were innocent victims.
F' that. I am just sick of it, that's all. Both teams acted poorly, and the Yankees were not poor victims. They contributed their share of the violence. I truly don't see why you can't admit that.

For the record:
The umpire got the call wrong. Garcia was not hit by the ball, it struck his bat after he ducked, and then the ball made contact with his body. Garcia should not have been awarded 1st base, but its all academic now.
To: demlosers
Not to mention it was not a fastball. If Pedro was headhunting, you'd have thought he'd have used a fastball. But that's just me.

FWIW
virago \vuh-RAH-go; vuh-RAY-go\, noun: 1. A woman of extraordinary stature, strength, and courage. 2. A woman regarded as loud, scolding, ill-tempered, quarrelsome, or overbearing.

It's clear on the videotape that Pedro hit Garcia from behind, which was no accident.

WFAN reported this. It will be in tomorrow's papers.

OH I JUST FOUND ANOTHER GREAT RULE!!!!!
SECTION 8 SUB PARAGRAPH 3 WITH A DOUBLE SUB PARAGRAPH3
should relievers attack celebratory groundkeeper and then are to be enjoined by outfielders their teem must release on wavers the pitcher of record during this fracas. So if the yanks want to play by the rules you need to release MARIANO RIVERA immediately.
