One thing I think is productive is to post meeting notices of the local union representing grocery store workers in the bathrooms. These probally won't last long. BTW, I usually do not support unionization but in the case of WalMart I think it may serve them right.

As a prank, and I think it would hurt WalMart at the bottom line, is to get your friends, each with a shopping cart, go to every corner of the store and fill them up and then just leave. It is sort of like the same friends, on a prank mission, going to McDonalds and seperately ordering some sandwich off the dollar menu at lunch time. with a specific request, like, no ketchup or extra onions, it really slows them down and costs them money.

But I wouldn't do anything like this myself.

In my last job I learned that unions have their place and can be beneficial in divisions of large corporations. Otherwise, even plant management that knows better and wants to do the right thing by their people may have no leverage with HQ weenies who see anyone that does actual work as basically peons and those who manage them as little better.

Of course in that job, I still realize that it was time to GTF outta there when I sat in on a "counseling" session and found myself 100% in agreement with the shop steward.

From what I've heard about Wal-mart, you are probably right.
