We found out that the bugs had already gone to sleep for the winter, but that the Indians and their summer awakened them - and boy were they ever hungry!

I did not know that they would bite a person. Maybe there were not aphids sufficient enough for their needs...

Lady bugs are still driving me nutz here. Now the Box Elder Bugs are joining in to terrorize me. I can't figure out how they're getting into my house. It is air tight, except for the flues of the fireplaces. I just don't think these nasty little critters are coming down the chimney a la Santa Claus.
