It's only 5:30 am in the land of fruit of nuts, we probably won't know until this time tomorrow.

Here's my take on the Recall.
The biggest, most telling factor is this, Discounting the obvious staging (Red White and Blue Confetti snowing at every stop) everytime the cameras pull back from the tight Arnold shot, the crowds are pretty large, Whereas Davis is seen only at totally organized (read:Union, and Other DNC organs) events, and the attendance even then, looks minimal, Bustamante roughly the same.
Arnie=Straight Public Stops, and Cheering Throngs, Grayout, and Bust-a-move, Highly Organized union events, enthusiastic due to ideological reasons rather than PUBLIC support.
One is beginning to wonder if the tightening of the Race we keep hearing about is the result of the medias myopic refusal to believe that the LATimes garbage is having next to no effect.......

ok.... I went and voted about 10am. Had to wait a bit, but it was orderly, as always. Talked to one of the gentlemen working there, and he said that the crowd had been steady. His polling place had had 200 before 10am.
We'll see. I wonder if Davis will ever figure out that it ISN'T a vast right wing conspiracy?
