I'm thinking that PJ isn't going to cover Frodo's capture.

You think? Why do you think? He has Sam and Frodo dressed in orc-armor in the toys Weta came out with....

The moment at the gate when the rider brings out the mithril shirt and for a moment they think all is lost... is one of my very favorite parts.... and great cinema if PJ were to let us wonder, as he is prone to do..... I don't think he'll cut that.

If I'm reading the trailer footage right, it looks like a shot of Frodo & Sam looking at the green alarm light sent up, presumably from the Watchers at Cirith Ungol. Frodo & Sam aren't dressed in orc armor, they're wearing their standard gear.

At that point in the book, Frodo had already been rescued by Sam, and they were dressed in orc armor...when they set off the alarm.

Unless, PJ had them set off the alarm once they get to Minas Morgul..

I don't know...something about it is confusing me.

They cast someone to play The Mouth of Sauron; the Australian actor who played the gyro pilot in the second and third Mad Max movies - Bruce Spence is the name, if memory serves. The scenes have been shot. Bruce is very thin and cadaverous looking; good casting. It would not have made much sense to shoot this scene if The Mouth of Sauron shows up empty-handed.
