i was contacted by foxnews to be on at 12:30pm tomorrow to discuss the rush situation.

i know what to say about the espn situation but the drug one is the one that hit me hard.

this is a very sad day! i hope rush tells us something, anything soon; so that i can know what angle to use in defence of him.

one thing is for sure, if this is true, this will make his haters very very happy. they have been looking for something to bring him down with!

oh well i am hoping rush says IT AINT SO but if is, we should support him in getting the help he needs, not discard him over one bad deed.

Michael Savage made a good point tonight: the press didn't belittle JFK for his overuse of prescription drugs, yet they are hammering at Rush. Why was it OK for JFK, but not alright for Rush? (I think we all know the answer to THAT question).

He did rail for years against liberal drug users and has continually supported the WOD.

There is a difference between someone who gets addicted to a prescription pain killer and someone who willfully starts using an illegal drug. The law recognises this difference by the way people are prosecuted.

Time will tell.

You could use the Biblical version: "Let he among you who is without sin be first to cast a stone," but the rats wouldn't know what that means.

Depending on what Rush has said to that point, you might want to say that the drugs certainly didn't cloud his mind, since he continues to make more sense than all the snarling, spitting rats put together.

Of course, as far as we know, he also has not threatened or raped any women, or drowned them by driving them off a bridge.

Between all the rat lines like "let's just move on," "that's part of his private life" and "he needs to get back to work for the American people," anything Rush did regarding self-medication should be considered a non-starter.

I'm sure Rush will handle the situation appropriately -- without the mealy-mouthing, b.s. and legal crap the rats use to try to avoid ever admitting they're wrong.
