You know, as much as I want to make a smart remark, like "I bet his kids will be so proud...", I can't. Maybe it sounds strange, but I can't fault a guy for setting a difficult goal, whatever it is, and reaching it. Even if it's mundane or silly. Maybe he'll inspire someone to do something more useful.

My father once knew a woman who told him she knew the secret to success. She said it was to pick something, anything, and practice it, faithfully. Yoga, bowling, whatever. It has a sort of Zen-like truth to it. I guess her point was that it conditions the mind to believing in the concept of improvement, and it just might inspire those around you.

That said, I prefer Skittles. Sure, they're pretty much pure sugar and nutritionaly void. Don't care. I just can't eat too much chocolate at once. I can't tolerate that kind of sweetness too long.

Hey, this is comparing apples and oranges! They oughta put an asterisk on the record, like the one slapped on Roger M, one mark for M&Ms and the other for Smarties.
