My section chief inmy old artillery unit was a tanker in Germany before he went National Guard.
He said he loved the place, but that was back in the late 80's early 90's.
Though I still hear that it's a nice place to serve.
*shrugs*
Never been there myself, so I wouldn't know admittedly.
But that's the buzz that I heard, for what it's worth.
