This looks like a fun thread. I don't remember the original one, though.
I'll tell a cute story that took place in my home last week.
I homeschool our children and we like to take a break in the morning after we work for a while. Last year, we watched "I Love Lucy" for our break, but we've seen almost all of the episodes, so I decided that we will watch "Leave it to Beaver" this year. I was secretly hoping that my children would be inspired by the Beaver and Wally who I think are wonderful role models.
Well, a few weeks after watching the show, my ten year old son came up to me and said, "Mom? Why can't you be more like June Cleaver?"
Oh, my! I think my plan backfired!

That is such a great story. Are you mopping the floor in 3" heels yet? LOL

What a funny story, Candi! Kids have a way of bringing it all back home, don't they?
I was talking with my daughter the other night on the phone. In the background I could hear my little 3 yr old grandson jabbering away, apparently to no one. Suddenly I hear, "Wilson Mom! Hellllllooooooooo!" He had been trying to get him mom's attention as we talked, and didn't buy her motions to wait a minute. :) The little sponges can really surprise us at times with what they "pick up". LOL!

(For some...it's always going to be "A Nam Thing!")
