Yes, Martha, the sister of Mary. More or less the one who always 'Saw to things', and Ruth. Are you familiar with the book of Ruth?
Once about 20 years ago, during a horrible church fight when they succeded in closing our Parochial School, I threatened to form a new social group in the community to be known as "The Disciples of Ruth". The priest nearly fainted. HA! I guess he was familiar with the story of Ruth,

I know about Ruth...Boaz' Ruth.....and she's highly praised for obedience and honoring her committment, among other things.
Martha, of course, is known for serving....but also known, for not taking time to listen, as opposed to Mary.
They are both given respect, but Martha is often referenced as putting works before more enduring things.
