Reality is all about us, and it is best defined by the bad things that
happen when it is ignored.

What if God is reality?

I have ignored the christian concept of 'God' [I was confirmed at 14 as a catholic] for all of my adult life. -- Nothing bad has happened to me as a direct result of doing so, to my knowledge.
However, EVERY time, without fail, -- that I've ignored my own concept of reality, -- one way or another I've ended up hurting myself, or others..
So it goes...
Imo, fools act on faith.

When I first read the Bible I thought it was the most anti-religious thing I ever read. Jesus hung out with prostitutes and condemnded priests. The Holy Spirit first showed up in a bar. Noah got off the ark and got drunk. The First Commandment starts off with "Thou shalt not worship . . . "(at least as how I was taught it.)
Anyway, my big arguments on these threads aren't about gettng someone to go to church but about defending Christian values as a cultural norm and, also, about defending a belief in God, which I deeply have.
And say what you want, it may be a while since you took communion but you were raised with "Christian" values and you appear to still have them.
