Thanks for that info Vast....... I appreciate knowing that......... I hear people all the time griping about the name "American's Team", as if the Cowboys's named themselves that.......... kind of reminds me of how people make fun of the slogan "Don't Mess With Texas".....as if we are saying how big and bad we are...... that was a slogan used by the State back in the 70's to discourage littering....... lol

We Texans are a friendly lot. The road signs at our borders say "Welcome to Texas; Now Go Home!"

Why doesn't someone make the WFTD "Flatulence"? It would fit most posts today.

I'm the best at being silly, mean, and sincere at the same time. Is that wrong?

You've been reading the same articles as I have.

Colombia is not on my list of places to visit. They were saved from the "guerillos" because they were overweight and were wearing sandals. Feel sorry for the rest of their group.

Is that okay with everyone?

Yes, I read it. I'm not a country music fan at all, but I saw Mr. Cash on TV a few times in the 60's and he always struck me as a good guy and an excellent country musical performer. I can hear his voice now. I'm sorry he's died.

His passing is not sad to me. He has been suffering a long time and was ready. I don't own a single Cash recording but his music has always been in the background of my life. Sort of like a cranky wind chime on a breezy day that is hanging on your neighbor's back porch driving you insane and you want to snatch it down and...... Just kidding, I grew up with it and it's catchy.

I didn't know he was suffering, just as well he's passed then.

Physically in pain and mourning the loss Of June Carter Cash back in May. For only 71 years of age, "he was rode hard and put away wet" as they say.
