melanie griffith is a liitle too plastic looking...she's had too much work done and seems a bit too desperate.
SPOILER....do not read further.
the book was very dark and has an awful ending, i'm wondering if they remain true to the novel considering american's preference for upbeat endings.
i can't see meg ryan as the protagonist, she doesn't seem to have the depth.
