Check out surfline.com.
For a small yearly fee you can have access to live cams all over the u.s. and worldwide.
I use it all the time here in So Cal.

Outer Banks - 3-4 foot waves with heavy chop, not good surfing, weather advisory for tomorrow calls for 8-10 feet. Strong onshore winds blowing tops of waves off and creating large chop and closeouts. Rip tides and undertow very dangerous for swimmers.

Found this for ya -
FOLLY BEACH, SC
Good Day, this is David with the report for Friday afternoon at 12 PM.
SURF
4-5 ft. - shoulder to head high with occasional 7 ft. and fair-good conditions.
Solid swell...but not where our kick ass S.L. cam is. ENE winds begining to bump it up...biggest most consistent surf with tide help

That doesn't sound promising.
