Oh come on!
Tex doesn't have any Astrorough in the back of her Camino.....
(It wore out a couple of years ago and they replaced it with an orthopedic foam mattress from the boat...)

No astroturf, just a sprayed bed liner to protect the bed of the truck, because we do use it as a pickup truck. No orthopaedic mattress, either. It is a muscle car rather than a lowrider, ala drag racing, which we used to do until it got to be a too-expensive hobby. It has a small lift kit on the back, wide, low profile tires, and the fanciest thing about the paint job is racing stripes on the hood. In fact, xs, it is in one of the pictures of the house I sent you, parked right next to my 300zx. I couldn't resist waxing a fellow in a Mustang at the last light in the city limits on the way back from the city who kept gunning his engine at me. This is the third time I have done that in the El Camino, and at that same light. I have always loved the head rush that comes with letting your foot off the brake at max acceleration when the light changes, and the way that engine roars when both carbureators kick in. But I hate the sick feeling of watching the gas gauge move when I do that, too, sucking up the octane... That is one reason that car isn't driven often. Racing is my and hubby's favorite vice-it is almost as good as sex (but only "almost").
