My ex-husband died, so I had to come out here for the funeral and to be with Dawn and Tyler. The funeral was on Friday. I spent some time with his family, been doing some shopping, went to the fair and have been eating out entirely too much. Oh wow, I'm sorry to hear that ..
No that's not what I'd call fun .. how is Dawn and Tyler doing?.. how are you doing?

Thanks Mo. It was hard. Rudy was not a bad person. He had a good heart, but just could never deal appropriately with his pain. It didn't have to be this way. He wasn't but 49. Dawn took it very hard, but she is doing better. Tyler had not spent a lot of time with him the past 3 years so he really didn't understand. His mom was the hardest to be around. It was awful for her, but getting to see Tyler and spend some time with him was good medicine for her. I'm glad I came. It was one of those rare times that I felt I was able to make a difference.
