Way to go, Gabz! I, too, am a bargain hunter...we live in an affluent neighborhood, and fortunately - money is not short...BUT...what gives me the greatest pleasure is finding deals! I can't even pay full price at the discount stores anymore!
Some of my best are at GAP For Kids - I've bought their outrageously priced clothes for 75% - 80% off...example, $60 down winter coats for $10. $40 backpacks for $3...what I can't give as gifts, I donate to charity. But, I'm a "stay-at-home-grandma", so I have the time to devote to this...and you have to buy "out of season" - thinking ahead, not to mention storage room. ha My next favorite place is Sam's...every Sam's has a "close out" corner...and everything with an "$.81" price is "below cost". I just bought an old fashioned child's desk - originally Sam's price at about $60 - for $18.81. Fantastic!
The thrill is in the hunt...

The thrill is in the hunt... Yup. My husband actually likes going shopping with me - he knows I will wind up with hundreds of $$$ worth of stuff, whether merchandise or groceries, for just a fraction of what other people would pay!!!
