"Tacity" is okay. I'm sure you'll get a grade from Miss Rika for being original.

I thought Arnie's interview from 26 years ago was honest. He was 29 years old. Single. Full of testosterone (and probably steroids at that time). He was making a name for himself. He lived in Venice, CA, for goodness sake. Now that's a beach town that is quite quirky. It was a hippie haven then as it is now, although the hippies are aging.

I don't agree with what he did, but what he did was everywhere in that part of CA. That's why CA needs someone who is sort of conservative, otherwise, they're going to get Bustamante who would love to give CA, AZ and NM back to Mexico.

And that's just my opinion.

I would love to see McClintock become Governor, but it just ain't going to happen.

i totally agree, slippy. pragmatism over idealism. arnold could conceivably win, doesn't matter how good McClintock is, if he can't. arnold was brutally honest, and matter of fact in that interview. i had no problems with it. he is, who he is, and he isn't pretending otherwise.

I agree, he was young, ambitious for the press, and telling them what they wanted to hear.
