Some straaaange stuff comes to my mind when I'm lacking sleep.

HA! I get lots of stuff in my head when I'm lacking sleep, not weird though but overtly sentimental. Now this one is funny. You really are very good.

Sometimes, in dreams, I'll hear a song that does not exist in the waking world.
And when I wake up, I try to scramble and write it down before it's gone.
I usually fail, but sometimes I get a good enough section of it down.

Except for one that was rather pretty, and haunting.
And I know the tune still, but I cannot remember what the words were.
But that's how dreams are, fleeting and wraithlike.
