I aways keep plenty of tissues close by when at FR. I never know when they'll be needed. Happy posts such as LT. SMASH's homecoming really bring on the tears.
I made sure to have an ulta-large box for everyone so there should be plenty. I put a bit of a dent in it, though. :-)

Oooooh how I wish we could push the calendar up so ALL our troops could come home. But we knew at the start this wouldn't be a quickie and are having to learn patience, hard as it is. I know it has to be even more difficult for family members of our troops.
At least, thanks to so many here at FR, we can keep abreast of the GOOD things going on in the war on terrorism, the accomplishments of our fighting men and women.
And many here not only support our troops, but are here in support of the family members.
Your son is in my prayers daily for his well being and safe return home.

Should be plenty of tissues for everyone. Got plenty more if needed. *giggle*
Thanks for posting the link to "Living With America". I'd missed that the first time around and it's awesome. L.T. SMASH sure has a wonderful way with words.
I'm getting waaaaay behind on sending goodies out in e-mails. Mine STILL doesn't work! sheesh!! Bookmarking! :-)

Indeed it does. But then we now have a president who actully wants to win, unlike a certain other president who if memory serves was also from Texas.

If you're not crying after reading this... Hell, no I'm not crying. I'm cheering....YES!
Bravo Zulu, Smasheroo; welcome home, ya squid.
I can't think of anyone who deserves more to be together for a few days now than Smash and the Mrs, aside from all the others who've been too long in the same boat. Have fun, kids.
