Will the McClintiacs misread the Simon drop out?
Posted on 08/23/2003 3:26:00 PM PDT by zbigreddogz
Obvously, the state party is trying to clear the way for Schwartzenegger. Do you think that the McClintiacs will misread this to think that their candidate actually has a chance, or will they wake up and support someone who actually has a chance?

Why exactly is that?

Yep, I agree entirely.

Given he is ahead in every poll except an L.A. Times push poll, and that even was before Simon dropped out, and he said he wouldn't raise taxes, what logical reason do you have to support your assertion?

"Who can watch those @ssholes? Julian? Juliette? Idiot Mike? Who are you kidding?" Excuse me, but I really don't know what or who you are talking about...but I guess it has to do with tomorrows media events...maybe you might enjoy Tony Snow??? Do you work, live or pay taxes in CA?

kelly, you are a moron. Don't talk to me anymore. I'll watch Tony Snow 24/7 before I'll watch those idiots on F&F on the weekends. Juiliette only has a job because of her old man (dad), Bill Huddy. Julian is a token, IMO, and Mike is a an idiot.
I am a native Californian (3 generations). You?

What is your problem? I asked you what you were talking about because you mentioned some people that I was not aware of and you cop an attitude and call me a moron??? I wasn't talking to you asshole to begin with...you posted me that you wouldn't watch some people that I never heard of...now if your ass can cash the checks that your mouth is writing I'll be glad to have a car pick you up at LAX and let's see if you have the balls to insult me to my face, PUNK!

I see no point in a thread like this. It's totally divisive. Sorry, JMHO.

This is good for us McClintiacs and bad news for RINOistas.

Exactly right. The Rinos have been force feeding us Demoncrat wanabees for years and it does not seem to be working. If Arnold was that popular, he would not need Tom to drop out as it appears he does now. He can't even get 1 of 3 votes without Tom dropping out? Gad. I think Arnold will drop further from here.

Who is the closest candidate to Bill Simon philosophically? Tom McClintock. Threfore, who is likely to be the biggest beneficiary of Simon's withdrawal? McClintock. And as more Republicans see that Schwarzenegger is simply a tax-hiking Kennedy Democrat in Republican clothing, McClintock will find himself in this race.
Schwarzenegger seems to be slipping already.
Will the Schwarzenegger people get behind McClintock when he gets ahead of Ah-nold? Not likely.
