Tan-Tara seemed to me to be a bit 'worn'. The grout between the tiles in the bathroom was dark and discolored. The balcony was secure, but could never be described as upscale.

The rooms were nice and recently redecorated, the bathrooms and balconies were in need of attention. The connecting halls, which connect the various buildings were adequet, brightly lit, but not equal to the newly redecorated rooms.

The resturant has a lovely weekend buffet breakfast. No complaints about the food. The decor in the resturant and bar is "Lodge",, the view of the water is lovely, but much of the waterscape is blocked by trees.

This would never be a destination for me, if I had a choice. The 'choice' wasn't mine. Hubby was in meetings on Friday,, I got a good start on Treason. It was too hot to sit on the balcony to read.

There is a very nice Outlet Mall not far away. Jones New York, Polo, Liz, Hartstrings (a Grandma's paradise), Coach. The stores and merchandise were quite similar to the Outlet Mall not far from my home,, except we have not Hartstrings here.
