Anything dangerous in your house?

I just heard an ATF agent on local TV say (after being asked why they arrested someone) that the reason for the arrest and confiscation of weapons was because "If anyone broke in and robbed that house, they could then have used that stuff in the commission of crimes".

"My wife has her purse filled with credit cards in the house. It makes me feel very unsafe."
Cut up the cards, that way she can't use them. :-)

Wow, I never thought of that. What's more dangerous, the anthrax I've got stashed behind my bombs, or the vials of plague I keep in the fridge, or the do-it-yourself abortion kits, or the very sharp knives? Maybe it's the brass knuckles... Maybe it's the industrial waste... Perhaps the contaminated chicken or the A.K. 47s or the other many, many guns...
Maybe I should lay them all out on the bed so I can organize them in descending order of danger, and rid my apartment of them one by one, then celebrate my new-found safety with some pie...

But then again, if the scumbag broke into my house and was confronted by me, and my .44 caliber magnum he would get one round in the chest. This would, effectively, kill him thus saving, 1) my property, 2) any chance this scumbag would ever commit a crime again, and 3) saving the taxpayers a hell of a lot of money (trials and imprisonment, and the like). All for the price a .44 mag hollow point. Sounds like a deal to me. I'll even pay for the clean up of my house.
Put that scumbag in the ground and send on the next one. Attrition will take care of the rest of them.

Yeah, but what if you weren't home. BTW, the guy they arrested is a veteran with zero criminal record. IOW, he's one of the good guys.
