...my oldest sister left me a voice mail this morning, telling me to call her as soon as I could. Yikes! My first thought was that something terrible had happened, like my mother ill, something like that CONGRATS to your sister .. that is wonderful news
My older sister did something like that to me years ago when I came back from a vacation. She picked me up at the airport and had me sit down to tell me she was pregnant with her first child. She scared the daylights out of me at first.

Well, I cannot tell a lie .. yes it is true .. *L*
You should have heard me with my old boss, he told me the only reason he didn't fire me was because my punishment was to keep working for him.

Well, her long-time boyfriend (can you call him that when you're both over 50?) Yes, you can.
Harruuumph, kids.
Some of us age like fine wines.
Ok, OK, so some of us age like pastry.

I should look at the preview before hitting the post button, but that would be too much trouble...
I was either going to say, "I ain't a kid", or "I'm not a kid". I wasn't an English major, either.

Did I make the morning? Good morning all.
Wow..what a screwed up day so far.. I hope it's true that this is the last day of the heat. The 70's sound really nice for a change.

I guess we'll be okay -- just a rough time right now.
To: grannie9
I just have to give up hoping I'll find a good man to marry .. at least until after the kids are grown and gone. I used to hope someone would help me raise them - they are boys and it would be good for them. But a man would have to be nuts to volunteer for that duty.
To: ValerieUSA
I understand, and it works both ways I guess. Dyan was doing well too, but her guy is tied to his boys, and had very little free time for her. Kids can make your life difficult.
I think at 16 and 18 he could have let them be a little more independant from him, but you can't tell people what to do about their kids..
So.. she's back to square one again too I guess.
I just hope you moved for some other reason other than him.. :(
