Yes .. he was really going over the edge and when Jim banned him, he has really gone off his rocker .. he wants to bring FR down now so he goes around stalking women and accuses us of all kinds of things.

That's what it comes down to for me. At least WE remember when life was better and the majority of people were more sane, when doing the right thing and building character were virtues and virtue and character mattered for those in positions of leadership, whether in the secular world or in the church.

Libby, I wasn't around in my parents day or my grandparents day .. but I do have the stories that have been passed down. And I will pass their stories along with my stories to my children.

The enemy thinks they can control our thoughts, our faith and our dreams .. They cannot and they will fail .. Why??? because WE THE PEOPLE will not let them succeed. As long has we keep the fire going, it cannot burn out. But if we give up, only then will the fire go out. I agree that it can be very depressing at times but don't ever give up faith and don't ever give up hope, because then the enemy will win. It is up to us .. all of us

No we are not soft .. just look and the men and women over in Iraq, Kuwait, and other danger sites around the world ..

Sounds like this dude was a bit spoiled while growing up and couldn't handle real life.

The pilgrims never lived in a free society with sensible people and virtuous leaders - so they moved on and made a pkace for themselves and their children. Some group within the next generation or two may have the same gumption and start fresh again. I think it's Biblical. Remember, America took a long time to rise, and the next "America" won't be instant either.

I've been lurking on the Arnold threads; I was going to do some posting, but things turned ugly. Very ugly. It's the "Arnold is a Republican and he can WIN!" against the "Arnold is a RINO and I'm voting for McClintock!" people, with those who are arnold supporters accusing the McClintock supporters of actually being Bustamonte supporters. There are the true partisans who really attack the principled conservatives for wanting to lose for their principles, and that this is all about WINNING. I ask, winning what? It's too vicious for me.

I understand about having a bad day. I often think we've slid too far down the slope of socialism to crawl back up to liberty. Too many people are getting too many government goodies, and will vote for the politicians who will hand out largess from the treasury. Liberty is frightening to them. Taking responsibility for their own lives is too much to ask of them, apparently.

*sigh*

Other than that, things are great!

Well, it's 140 degrees over there and to be honest, I'd bitch too. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't do my job.

The media tends to report on the doom and gloom stories, they don't report on all the ass kick'n our troops did and still do .. they don't report on how soldiers took money our of their OWN pockets to help get schools up and running .. they don't talk about how the Iraqi people are glad that we are over there and how many feel so much safer since Saddam was kicked out.

Are there a few soldiers that are weak and not up to the job? .. yes but then there have been soldiers like that in almost every war we've been in. But that doesn't mean that all of them are weak

I am going to support the porno star by buying one of her videos.
After all, if Californians are gonna get screwed, it might as well be done right.

The problem with this recall is that there is no primary to fight this out before the main election to see who will be the GOP canidate.

IMO .. Arnold is not a "true" conservative but can pull CA out of their finacial problems .. McClintock is a "true" conservative and can also do a good job in pulling CA out of their problem ..

Without a primary .. the voters in CA just need to figure out exactly who are they going to back because if they continue to be split .. Bustamonte will get elected.

The flame wars are sensless and don't help matters.

You can always find a few soldiers to bitch and even commit suicide.
If you assigned the 3rd Infantry to hold the Belagio Casino Hotel in Las Vegas and gave them Govt. credit cards, some of them would still bitch and get suicidal.

This is reminiscent of the flame wars during last year's goober primary - Reardon vs. Simon. Same arguments. Reardon can WIN. Yeah, but the guy is a bigger liberal than Doofus. Simon turned out to be a horrible candidate, and here is is running again! I would love to slap his head off! I'm sure I'd feel better.

Thinking with the small head is the only way to survive the recall threads.
