Hey guys, what's happening?

I have a little question regarding DFG fishing license regulations here in Colleeeforneeya. I'm heading up to Tahoe next week to do a little fishing and I need to know if I, a sixteen-year-old, need to purchase a license. I've heard from people that say you need one at 16 and people who say you need one at 18, so I need this settled once and for all. Of course, I've never had to worry about this before, due to the fact that this is the first time I've gone fishing since I turned 16.

So, I figured you FReepers would know, considering that more often than not, conservatives are the ones who do things real men do like hunting and fishing.

I can't imagine the DUmbasses knowing this.

Stop at a local WalMart and ask someone there at the sports equipment section.

Or do like any other computer junkie does, look at the regs online.

Yeah, I'll probably end up just going with my dad when he gets his, and see if I need one. Or if I can find out before then I might go down to Outdoor World with my buddy who is coming with us.

Oh, and I couldn't manage to find it online, but I'll look again after dinner.

Anyone 16 years and older must have a fishing license to take any kind of fish, mollusk, invertebrate, amphibian or crustacean in California.
