I'm certain that I heard some Senators talking during a session on cspan2 AND they were asking each about some of their own kids that were deployed to Iraq. I just can't remember the names. One of the first names of one of the Senators' kids was "Brook" or "Brooke."

To the best of my knowledge, Senator Tim Johnson (D-SD) is the only member of Congress with a son deployed to Iraq.

Than you for taking your time to respond to this. It may interest you to know (see my post 22)that I saw the father of the Vanderbilt grad / Navy Ensign this weekend. His son has just been assigned to the Kitty Hawk. I also forgot to tell you that in basic training his room mate was Andy Ashcroft, son of the U S Atty General.
