Mark Burnett Productions has once again permitted 16 media whores to ply their trade just to bring us a few hours of blissful enjoyment.

*happy sigh* (yes I know, I have no taste or moral fiber)

La Peregrina was given to Queen Mary Tudor by Philip the II of Spain in 1554; later the pearl ended up in the hands of Napoleon the III and today Elizabeth Taylor has the pearl in her possession.

It's not exactly the same pearl it once was. Her dog used it for a chew toy at best. It is rumored that the doggie actually ate it and a sad little lump was later retrieved from Liz’s yard.

Finally! We Survivor junkies can come out of the woodwork again. Add this to the Red Sox' comeback win today, which moved them back in front of Oakland for the Wild Card lead, and all I need are a chocolate bar, a bowl of ice cream and for the Yankees to lose and today will officially be a good one.

Thanks. It was reported on Survivor News that the names of the two islands that the tribes lived on were MOGO MOGO and GIBRELEON. I'm wagering that those would also be their tribe names, although it has also been speculated that the tribe names are DRAKE, MORGAN, and BALBOA, after the Pirates/Explorer.

Also, Darrah Johnson, a Native American female from Mississippi, has been named as a possible contestant.

I pretty much feel the same way, but my wife wanted to watch this show so I reluctantly started watching. Now even though i'm embarassed to say it, look forward to the show and it's worse than any Soap Opera i've ever seen. But still I like to watch it, I guess stranger things have happened.

The ghost of Davy Jones be telling me that the cast of Survivor 7 will be introduced on this Thursday’s Early Show on CBS! Har! Har! Har!

And since yer humble Capt. Cuz is stuck here at work er I mean onboard the mighty ship FReeper, I will be unable to view the show.

If the website comes back up after Thursday, then I’ll be back some times next week with my cast bios.
