It's a play on their being horse faced. Originally the joke was, "A horse goes into a bar, the bartender asks, why the long face?" So whenever someone mentions Prince Charles, Pickleboy, or other long faced person I say. "Long faced person goes into a bar, the bartender asked, why the long face"....
