Well, my internal alarms went off when he started numbering. I got numbered letters from home when I was in college.

Nobody in my family who cared was ever organized enough to write me numbered lists like that. Grama would send a note on one sheet of paper wrapped around a check for $200 that was obviously hurriedly written.
