I'm teaching college. Yeah, college is a whole 'nother bag of headaches, but at least you don't have to do parent/teacher conferences. There's nothing worse than sitting across from power-brokers who gave million$ to the school and explaining to them that their angelic son can't multiply two numbers together... even with a calculator. That gave me anxiety attacks.

LOL. Well, I sort of have to deal with that right now. Only not a guy that donated.
Guy who subs up here sends his son to take college classes. Son just got done with Junior year of H.S. Dad has already been up to ask why son got an absence letter. Absence letters are required by the feds for students on gubmint money. Dad was offended because son did not get excused for being 2-1/2 hours late for a 3 hour 45 minute class due to a visit from his brother a hundred miles away. And an absence when he was 3 hours and 5 minutes late because he was getting glasses. (school handbook says non-emergency appts aren't excuses.)
Now, the boy ain't makin' a "A." I was already told that if the boy didn't make an "A" we'd have to talk.
Wanna come be a fly on the wall? You'd like it. I promise. I ain't puttin' up with the mouthy guy's guff.
