Where are you going? Also, does your local phone company offer Privacy Director? It cuts out all calls that would show as "unknown" on your Caller ID. It has cut down almost all of my solicitation calls.

Don't worry, it was probably a scam. Around here the cops tell you that if someone calls you asking for money for the police dept to try to get a call back number from them and report them because they are all scamming people. Your taxes already pay for all their stuff.. they shouldn't need donations on top of that.
