Ruby Beach is on my itinerary for a vacation. When is the best time of year to do it? (I usually take about 7 days / 6 nights in one place and then range out in the days. It takes that long for me to get into the mood of a place.)

Well, it's a rainy coast. I'd say your best chance is in the summer, July, August. If you watch the weather charts and there is a big strong high sitting in the North Pacific the odds are the weather on the coast will be good. If you don't mind the rain then most any time is good.....
