Thanks so much for taking the time to explain Lani Marie's progress and what the procedure entails. My cousin's daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia when she learned she was pregnant. She opted to continue the pregnancy and fight the illness later. After the baby was born she had a BMT but lost her battle because of an infection. The baby was fine, but the loss of my cousin's daughter was, of course, extremely difficult for everyone. Because it was so sensitive, I never burdened them with a lot of questions and your information has been helpful in understanding what may have happened. Thank you.

God bless Lani Marie and your family. Jennifer is a very brave and special girl for having shared such a gift with her sister. I have a huge smile on my face thinking of your happiness as each little hurdle is successfully challenged. It's so much more difficult when our children are confronted with such huge obstacles.

Lani Marie's white cells in the study were 100% her sister Jennifer's.
