that and the oh-so-classy "Pearl Lite" Pearl!! My first legal drink. When I had just turned 18, a friend of mine and I drove 700 miles to Texas (from Illinois). Bought a Pearl when we crossed the Texas state line where the drinking age was 18 (it was 19 in Illinois). Man, I hadn't thought of that in years.

My favorite would be my California Common (special personal receipe) that I brew myself.
Commercially, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale on draft is a mighty fine beer. They're bottled version is good also.
Thankfully the USA is experiencing a rennaissance (sp?) in good brewing. And a person no longer has to drink the common swill.
But, as the old saying goes...The best beer is the one in my hand!

Gotta go with the Henry's too, though it used to be better.
I had some of the very first batch of that stuff from way back. These days with kids & stuff we usually grab something less expensive, but I do still like it when I can get it.

Shiner Blonde
Was wondering if I'd see that on here. Only wish it was sold up where I am. At any rate, make that a second vote on the Blonde
