I have never posted anything on here, so here goes. My daughter, the real Cowgirlcutie (Jennifer), was on her way to school this morning in her truck. She was driving over a hill on a country road when another truck came towards her, driving in the middle of the road. In an effort to avoid him, she swerved, lost control of the truck and flipped it over. The other driver didn't stop. A man came along and saw her climbing out of her truck and brought her to our house and called the police and ambulance. Well, she's pretty banged up (minor concussion), but Thank God is home now recovering. The police talked to the man that caused it, but there is no recourse, because there was no contact between his vehicle and hers. Anyway, I sure would appreciate yours prayers for her quick recovery.

Thanks for the ping.
Just another example of how we FReepers can stand together and help one another.
Prayers for a speedy recovery, cowgirlcutie (both of you).

Prayer ping to show a newbie how it works...
Lord, thank you for being with Jennifer this morning and protecting her from serious harm. Thank you for sending the good samaritan to help her get home. Please work with the man who was responsible for this accident, soften his heart, help him see his way clear to helping this family. In Jesus' Most Holy Name, Amen.

Thanks HiJinx...
cowgirl...your daugters tragedy is close in my heart. Although, in my accident, blame was able to be placed, that still does not change the fact that the accident still happened. My prayers are there for you and your daughter. In God's Love :)

Prayers sent for the quick recovery of your daughter.
May the driver who ran her off the road, find himself in the lane of one of his own ilk, next time his lane is too narrow to contain his vehicle.

Her Guardian Angel must be at her side to have her come through this so lightly damaged!
Prayers for her quick rebound and your settled mind that she is safe!

Thank you all SO much for your prayers...I know God has answered them. The doctors told her yesterday that she would be extremely stiff and sore, but she is getting around so much better today than I thought she would. Again, thank you and God Bless all of you!

The constable, who took the report, is a friend to this man (they live next to each other). The constable came by last night and told my husband that this man said he was there, but that it was her fault for not being able to stay on the road. My question is, if that is the case, why didn't he call the police or stop? However, I am SO thankful to God and for all of your prayers for her recovery! God Bless you!

No he hasn't. The constable (who is a friend of his), came by last night and said he admitted to being there, but said it was her fault for not being able to stay on the road. The constable then said it was he said, she said. The police report will not be out for another 5-6 days. However, I'm just thankful that she wasn't hurt worse and am thankful for ya'lls prayers and sympathy.

We're praying that after the investigation is over, he will at least be cited for not stopping. That part of it makes me so angry, but I'm thankful she is okay so far and that I have your prayers.
