Check out the Northwest Airlines Visa card. I recently received an offer for what looks like a pretty good deal. Depending on your credit rating, I assume, you can apply for the standard card with a fixed limit or the Platinum version with no fixed limit. You get either 5000 or 7500 miles for signing up and a once-a-year 4000 mile credit when you book a flight. The annual charge is something like a 1000 mile deduction from your account rather than a cash fee. NW miles can also be used on Continentinal, Delta and Alaska air lines.

Couldn't find the literature they sent me to verify my previous psst,so I looked up their offer on nwa.com. It's slightly different from what they sent me. You get 10,000 miles for either the standard or the Platinum versions and there is a $55 or $90 annual fee (for which you get either 55 or 90 miles).

I have a drivers edge citbank card and get a 2% rebate toward ANY vehicle (new, used, ford, chev, trailer) I purchase.

If they can pay me 2%, what are they charging the retailer????
