We Stand Divided...

OK this article is not about “love and world peace”. I have shaved my armpits (not that I care about hairy armpits) and I am not holding up my peace fingers that quickly turn into the “up yours” fingers. This article is intended to remind us all that so much “politicking” is becoming counterproductive to the well being of our country and our international relations. Spewing hate, manipulating legal loop holes, pointing fingers and laying blame is not accomplishing anything other than some often shameless sensationalism, and making our opponents more vigilantly defend their position. The well being of our country needs to be first and foremost above bi-partisan politics. We need to assess individual legislation on its overall merits not political alignment. To do that we first need to get the root of our venom by looking at the big picture.

Chrysler Corporation was to add a new car to it's line to honor Bill Clinton. The Dodge Drafter was to begin production in Canada this year, but the car had to be pulled out of production when initial tests showed that the little white lines on the road kept disappearing all the time.

We are HUMAN, not perfect. Not you. Not I.

I take great exception to that statement, after all, I've always thought of myself as perfect.

Kinda like your pictures.....a fire breathing conservative warrior babe.

Do you mean to tell me that I can't trust my thoughts if I only share them with my buddies? Are you telling me that if someone I don't like has a good idea it is not a bad idea? Are you telling me that I need to wear my hair different? What were we talking about? I'm so confused. I like staying on the forest floor, falling isn't so painful : )

LOL. Just be patient and Lazamataz will say the "uncouth" for you. Actually he is becoming decidedly more couth around me (I am liking that)... but not enough for me not to keep my guard up. :)

I am a weird American. I vote for a person and support an idea. The sad thing is we have become so partisan in our nation that most debate is based not on what is said but who said it. I am mostly conservative but I can be on the extreme left of many issues. I am always willing to listen to a point of view. If I don't like the point or lack of a point, I slap em up dside the head : ) That confuses both sides. Oh well I'll just be weird.

I always like to explain impasse. "You say yes, I say no. We can't compromise at maybe. So I beat you up". I'll probably get flamed but I tried to support Clinton even though I didn't vote for him. But he/she never had a good idea that I could say. "Yeah I'm for that." Luckily he/she did not accomplish most of what they set out to do. I do want to go to the Clinton Liebury someday to read all the new history books. I'm tired of the same old history.
