I'm glad he was successful. However, private property is being seized in the U.S. by state governments, often in behalf of environmentalist groups, on the grounds that, unless the owner can prove unbroken chain of title back to an original crown grant or state grant, the property belongs to the state. In many cases, records have been lost or destroyed.
