I tried to reinstall my original administrator password in safe mode to no avail.

Appy, I bought a used notebook online and the sellers didn't remove the administrative password from MS XP Pro, which I'm not familiar with. Been trying for months to get a way around it. I'd be tremendously grateful if you had some helpful advice.
