It occurred to me that if one were married to someone who constantly criticized everything you do, always believed the worst about you, and never did a single thing to help you or show respect....I think personally I would not feel loved.

Sometimes those people are called...parents.

Good Point Bit, but even though parents would criticize, they still work like the devil to ensure your safety and well being, without thoughts for themselves.

I don't see that happening with many in power from the left!
