Mitch Mitchell. We were staying at the Beverly Garland Hotel in Universal City. Mitch was staying there also.

He had some cool duds on. He had a black jacket with neat colored threads going through it, levis, and a scarf that was out of this world. The scarf had musical notes all over it. When we checked in, I noticed the scarf, and, as usual, got talking with him. We saw him a couple of times after that.

I was going to get a photo with him on the last day, but he was gone by then.

He wants to fly! He'll either join the Navy or the Air Force, but he'll go in as an enlisted officer *gulp* I hope. The 'bot has been in JR ROTC for two years now. He's got all these cool ribbons and stuff. The camp is sponsored by the military.

Oh dang that's very different.. Seriously the first time I heard the term task saturation was in reference to F111 pilots "in the pre-computer will handle that days" having too many manual tasks to fly the dang airplane. I was just taking a cheap shot at you cuz I need a drink.

It's all I wanted to do when I was in HS. Had senate support for Air Force University and the GPA to boot. Found out I was nearsighted and it crushed me. Dropped out of highschool. Enlisted in USAF a year later to get back on track and pick up the pieces and finally at 40 got my private piolt ticket with minimum time. I flew alot for a while and even built a 2 seat experimental Amphib like this one. Except mine was red and white.
In 1996. Sold it in 2000 because hanger rent and insurance were money I needed with two in college. I'll get back to flying soon. GET BOT'S VISION CHECKED. If he is not perfect talk to him about another career. There are Military flying jobs that allow corrected vision but not the Jock jobs. CJ could tell more.
