Either my potassium is too low (i've been having symptoms of that recently) or I overworked the muscle rocking lydia for 3 hours straight the other night when the muscle cramped up to begin with. So he told me to start drinking my carnation instant breakfast again (it has a lot of potassium and magnesium in it) and gave me the pain pills for short term remedy for the pain. I had a severe potassium problem after eric was born because a moron quack doctor in TN gave me a water pill to lower my blood pressure (it was high for 5 mths after he was born even though not during pregnancy) while I was also breastfeeding and never told me to take potassium supplements. That ended me up in the hospital with my heartrate down to 40something and my blood pressure up to 170/119 after he took me off the water pill. The moron doctor back then actually told me all my symptoms were just from "nerves." The ER doc that fixed me said my heart could've stopped if I hadn't gone in the night he found the potassium problem. The moron doctor actually had the nerve to come in my room the next day and said "you are just going to have to trust me to fix this." It was the most painful experience of my life because when they replaced the potassium every muscle in my body cramped and I couldn't move my hands or fingers from a fixed position from the cramping. Soooo since I'm having signs of the potassium problem again I have to start working on the problem before it gets as bad as it did last time.
I swear I still wish I had sued that doctor in TN after he screwed up so bad. Even the nurses thought he was a moron for that screw up. Especially since I had a 3mth old baby at the time that almost lost his momma.

What a horrible story.
Glad to hear you caught it early.
And thanks for the tip on the carnation instant breakfast - I don't like bananas and my husband keeps telling me he thinks I need more potassium. the CIB I do like.
