Well I don't do a #2 in the public bathroom unless it's unavoidable, and yes I clean it as well as possible before I sit down. All I'm saying is that the same amount if not more germs are found many other places that people rarely think twice about touching.

Maybe but we know for sure that toilet seats in ublic restrooms are definitely NOT the place to be ingesting something.
