I’m also thinking about that mass grave they found in Iraq last week. It had about 200 little Kurdish kids in it, buried alive. Some of them were found still holding their dolls. Would the Jesus you present have made any effort to stop or punish that sort of thing or would he be too busy chewing Dubya out for fighting the war on terror in the first place? Would he tell us we're Nazis because we took down a regime that trained hijackers and suicide bombers? You use the words "trumped up" to describe the war that started with Osama's baoys dropping 2 kilotons of combat power into lower Manhattan on a Tuesday morning in an effort to kill 50,000 people. Would your Jesus think it's a trumped up war, too, that those 200 Kurdish kids are just the collateral damage we have to accept for being special-nice-nice-Christians to the torturers of this world?
Amazing he is, the false bootlicker Jesus that some Christians present these days. He whomps moneychangers but lets torturers and terrorists carry on with his tacit blessing.
