Where? - Near water? - I am not near water, should I take it to a lake?
I don't think it belongs here, I think it escaped or something, I would just like to know if it is native to Washington.

Oh, it's probably a native, they're just about everywhere. Ponds mostly. Just let it go, it wasn't lost until you picked it up.
Orrrrr... if you can find 2 or 3 more, the legs breaded and pan-fried make a great meal, and they even look enough like chicken legs so they won't freak you out too bad....
Or, ya could just do what I used to do with them when I was a kid, but you'll need some firecrackers for that... ;)

Any swampy wetlands nearby? They hang out all around here in Michigan...as long as there's a little water, there's bullfrogs.
