You know, you might do better to offer it as a long-time lease to the base itself. I am certain they have delays in base housing for certain officers' families because of repairs, painting, extermination, etc.

If the base had a house they could put people up in without haviing to unload their furniture or pay hotel bills I am sure they would be interested. The base would then take care of the occupancy and you would get rent even if it was unoccupied for a couple of months. They would have a guaranteed place for housing people short-term without all the hassles of trying to negotiate with apartment complexes, etc.

THANKS, d walked in just as I was reading it and liked the idea. When we go to the base monday or they come out here we will mention this. Good idea.
